NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR APRIL 14, 2026:
Scattered #showers and #thunderstorms continue to pass through the #Northland Monday night. #Fog will be likely with low #temperatures in the 30s and low 40s.
Tuesday will see more scattered showers with fog lingering near #LakeSuperior thanks to a light #lakebreeze. Highs will range from the 40s near the lake to the 50s and low 60s further inland.

4 P.M. #RADAR UPDATE:
#Showers and a few #thunderstorms are moving back into the #Northland from the south and southwest.
Thanks to #cooler #temperatures and a #lakebreeze, the strongest #storms are likely not going to be #severe.
LAKE BREEZE AT ITS FINEST:
This is the time of the calendar year that the #lakebreeze off #LakeSuperior really starts to kick in for us here in the #Northland.
I have gotten use to the early #spring feel in the air that lasts through all of spring. It will feel much better when the natural #airconditioning is welcomed during #summer!
#Showers and several #thunderstorms are moving into the #Northland from the north and the west...
Also moving in is a #lakebreeze ahead of a cold front.
The temperature difference between 4:40 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. in the #TwinPorts. Yikes!
So what does a #lakebreeze coming ashore from #LakeSuperior look like?
Sometimes the #radar can pick it up, as you can see.
Living within 2 miles of the lake makes this a common experience this time of year.
What a difference a #lakebreeze makes. A "back door" cold #front has cooled lakeshore communities quite a bit in the #Northland compared to Saturday's heat.
There's plenty of #sunshine out there, but #wildfire #smoke is keeping it #hazy. Good news, no air quality issues.
What a beautiful #Mother'sDay in the #Northland with sunshine and seasonal temperatures! Yes, that includes a #lakebreeze.
However, it is also leading to higher #fire dangers for Sunday. Monday will have the highest danger this week.

A few isolated showers will pass through the #Northland Wednesday night, but most areas will be dry with seasonal lows and light winds.
Thursday will have a mix of sun and clouds with dry conditions likely. A strengthening #lakebreeze will cool temperatures along #LakeSuperior, with seasonal highs inlands.

It's another day of scattered light rain and snow showers in the #Northland. Most aren't even reaching the ground.
Thanks to a #lakebreeze, the #TwinPorts and parts of the #SouthShore are dry and sunny.
