I don’t take as much advantage as I should of living where I do on the edge of the #SalishSea but today we took a friend out to Thetis Island pub for lunch and then had drinks and snacks at the bistro in #Ladysmith harbour on the return. "New water fountain for the feral guy. He's still so wary of anything new in his environment (of course). It's so cute when he grabs the crunchies with his paw and pulls them toward himself. 😂 He is now coming down one flight of stairs regularly to look onto the main floor. So brave! 💗"

We spent a couple of hours, walking around Hemer Provincial Park, yesterday. We both love this park & it was a fave when we lived in Cedar, at different times - back before we'd met.
Nice mixed forest. We found a big hollowed out trunk that went down pretty deep - it's the photo of Beau standing inside. Huge ferns, nettles & skunk cabbage plants were all over the park.
Wonderful time, immersing with nature, together 🥰
