BP-550 приехал! По инструкции подключил, проверив наличие аккумуляторов. Без нареканий, всё работает штатно. Поработал на 28360, потом в цифру на FT8.
Заметил интересное: при работе со штатным питанием 3-5 ватт всё равно бралось с батареи. Интересно, зачем? Была мысль что это подпитка до нужной мощности, но тут могу ошибаться.
Что бы я докупил: отдельно провод питания. Сетевой блок хорошо, а возможность подпитаться от машины или сол.панелей - ещё лучше.
Готовимся к новому году! А значит время подарков и в этот раз под ёлкой мой подарок будет не для меня. (Во как!)
Это будет батарейный блок для моего трансивера аж из Рубцовска из https://lab599.ru. Не удержался и решил, что аппарат достоин такого дополнения. Праздник всё-таки. :)

The IC-705 never appealed to me but the #ftx1 does.
If I can bring along an HT, then I would opt for the #lab599 #tx500 because of its ruggedness, and it being light weight and having a very low RX current draw.
If I want to go realy light weight, I grab the #qrplabs #qmx. Very high quality radio for small a price.
Got out to the park to play a little radio today. We've had some 80° weather here in Illinois, which is not seasonal, but appreciated. Tried out the new solar rig. When using the lab599 tx500 I came back with as much battery charge as I left with on a 40 watt panel. Was an overcast day. So I expect I can do better. I'll put this one in the plus column.
Ham radio folks - anyone have any experience with any of the mag Loops being sold on Aliexpress? Generally about USD 100.00 plus or minus 20 bucks. Although there are a bunch of sellers, they all seem to be the same 2 or 3 loops. I am personally looking at some of the 20watt ones for portable ops with my #Lab599 #TX500. This this just for fun. I do understand the potential foibles of buying here.
If anyone has gone down this path - for good or ill, I'd love to hear from you.
