I took my radio to the park for my first POTA/WWFF activation today. I worked a bunch of VKs on 40m SSB eager to help an activator fill the log, much appreciated.
After that I did some listening around on other bands. I couldn't believe how good the conditions and noise floor were compared to working from home. EU and US stations were booming in on 20m.
