On my way back from @cposc today I did my first #POTA activation since November! I took the advice of @tswartz07 and visited Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, aka PA State Game Lands 46, aka US-8745. Outside of hunting season seems to basically be a state park and a Mecca for bird watchers. There’s a nice visitor’s center with a view of a picturesque reservoir, and a spacious parking lot right outside to set up your station. #hamradio

Holy cow this weekend was insane on HF. I ended up with 142 SSB POTA contacts, on all bands from 40 meters to 10 meters. It was so much fun! The colors are listed in the image's ALT text. I think I need a vacation after all that!

This week I activated SOTA/GMA summit DM/NS-001 Wurmberg as well as POTA Park DE-0070 and WWFF DLFF-8805 Harz Nature Park and WWToTA DLR-0636 Wurmbergturm. It was a quiet crowded area on a sunny sunday, as the summit is accessible by a cable car and theres a lot of touristic activity for families and children. (You don't see that in the photo lol).
