I've replaced this mirror/light three times over the years, and each new reproduction part seems to be a bad copy of the last copy. Out of the box, the parts don't even snap together. Admittedly, it was a crappy design to begin with. I am tempted to get out my soldering iron and make it more reliable.

Last summer I posted my car coming back from the body shop with a new paint job. My excitement was soon gone when I began to notice parts here and there were missing. Lots of parts. Big things and little things. Mirrors. trim. Even the spare tire. I was too crushed to even look at it, but I have finally gotten around to putting it back together.
