@rk A few years ago I bought a book to learn Japanese but gave up after the first chapters. I can't easily learn kanjis, since my visual graphic memory sucks.
So I decided to learn #Korean instead. I fell in love with the language, the culture, #kDrama, #kFood and #kPop
All my respect if you even try to learn Mandarin or Japanese. At some point I'll probably give Japanese another shot, since they say its grammar is easier than Korean grammar.
Tip: there are many #cDrama shows on Rakuten Viki

@europesays I am watching the 2nd season with only 1 episode left. I firmly believe it's staged. Not 100% but the competition is structured and the judges evaluates to make only certain candidates go on.
Still to learn about #kfood it's a very interesting show.
Also Chef Ahn (the judge) definitely now has a eye tic I didn't notice in 1st season.
First I thought that he's into drugs, because it is quite widespread in the cooking world, but it could as well be a medical condition.

It's a TV cooking competition, not a drama.
Though I believe it's mostly staged, I am always interested in #kfood and how to prepare it.
