I spent too long, too much of my own time over more than a decade chasing a dream community project that is yet to deliver anything useful.

Maybe one day it will and I'll be very happy, and now also very surprised. The good thing is that after losing touch with software development prior, it brought me back to competency in an unrecognisable field (git, Rust, CI did not exist during my previous life)...
