I no longer run their CCU, but use the most excellent https://github.com/jens-maus/RaspberryMatic build alongside my #HomeAsisstant install (VMs/containers).
It's all local, no cloud. Even if it were to turn into abandonware, I guess I'd simply be stuck on the versions I have.

StarkMy father has a #Zigbee bridge and a bunch of #Sonofd temperature sensors, and the app is just horrible. The connection to the app is unreliable, the graphs are useless, etc. But I don't want to just flash #Tasmota to them and make him dependent on my #homeasisstant

Kevin Brown-Silva@bigcalm what integration do you use for your solar in #HomeAsisstant? I've tried #Solcast and #ForecaseSolar but neither of them have allowed me to adjust for shade levels so they're pretty hit or miss for me.

Die Umgestaltung meiner #homeautomation schreitet voran. Diese woche erstmal sämtliche Steckdosen aus der Chinacloud befreit und mittels raspi und #homeasisstant angebunden. Funktionierte erstaunlich schmerzfrei nachdem mittels Lötkolben und serieller Schnittstelle auf #tasmota geflasht wurde. Nächster Punkt: smart Meter auslesen und eventuell meine per infrarot gesteuerte Lichtleiste im Wohnzimmer ins home assistant überführen. Das wird aber etwas schwieriger.
