Over the past couple of months I've been having issues with my #ZigBee devices and #HomeAssistant. I've got a handful of ZigBee lights that are frequently failing to respond or have very long delays before responding. Sometimes I wind up having to rejoin them to the ZigBee network. I'm wondering if my Sonoff ZigBee 3 Dongle Plus 2 is the issue. Maybe I can connect these ZigBee bulbs to the switchbot hub instead. That might work better given the location of that vs the dongle.

Hack.lu CTF 2025

Hack.lu CTF 2025 I played this CTF in a different way: very relaxed, only looked at 4 challenges I was interested in, solved 3 ;P and nearly 4… Did not even peek at the other challenges. Conclusion: this was less stressful than other CTFs, and I was both able to play, learn… and enjoy the week-end. All challenges at Hack.Lu were organized like if they were items in an IKEA shop, including their names.

Ich habe mir jetzt doch mal einen Home Assistant bestellt.

Angeblich kann man damit die Daten aus meinem Huawei-Wechselrichter auslesen. Die möchte ich dann mit den Stromverbrauchsdaten kombinieren, um zu untersuchen, ob sich ein dynamischer Stromtarif für mich lohnt.

Vielleicht kann man dann sogar den Akku damit steuern, da bin ich mir aber nicht sicher.

Außerdem habe ich noch ein paar Lampen und Steckdosen bestellt, um damit ein wenig rumzuspielen 😎

Wenn das gut funktioniert, dann werde ich die Rauchmelder auf #Zigbee umstellen, weil das immer total nervt, wenn bei einem die Batterie leer ist und man dann ewig suchen muss, bis man den findet.

Wer von euch hat schon so ein System und welche Erfahrungen habt ihr damit gemacht?

Couple of weeks ago my 55 years old father asked, if I could help him smarten their home.
I said, sure, what you need? He told me, that they need to change their thermostat.

So I told him about @homeassistant, I ordered him a Bosch Room Thermostat II 230V, a #Zigbee antenna, and my old #RaspberryPi3.

We spent last day installing the hardware and Home Assistant OS.

This morning I got a message from him:
"The base automatization works, now we need only to fine tune it."

Alguien sabe que tipo de Dispositivo, preferiblemente #Zigbee y preferiblemente también #Sonoff ó #Shelly que Actúe/Detecte cuando se realiza una PULSACIÓN en un Pulsador Tradicional.
La idea es que al realizar una pulsación en #HomeAssistant detecte esa pulsación y una vez detectada ya se pueda realizar la Automatización o Script
