Grandpa Quarterback Buzzes Back to NFL, Shocking Youngsters 🏈
Philip Rivers, 44, makes a historic return after five seasons away. He nearly pulled off a victory for the aged.
The NFL has witnessed aged QBs before, chucking it well past expiration—Tom Brady, George Blanda, Steve DeBerg, Warren Beatty with Leo Farnsworth’s L.A. Rams—but no retired signal caller has ever been reanimated after such a long layoff.
As much as I like Keanu Reeves as an action hero (#Matrix & #JohnWick), I've never liked him in lighter fair.
He stars in #GoodFortune, which was a movie that I was definitely NOT interested in seeing at the theater but I took a look at it on an #AltStreaming channel & my decision to skip it at the theater was confirmed.
I could only watch 20 mins of it before reading the entire plot on #Wiki & skipping ahead to see how it ended.
I viewed it as a lesser grade version of #HeavenCanWait (1943 &/or 1978) & #ItsAWonderfulLife (1946).
I suggest you watch one of those instead, if you want to see movie about an angel saving souls which is what Good Fortune is supposedly about.
Von Meat Loaf kommen bestimmt noch mehr Lieder.❣️
I’ve got Meatloaf’s #HeavenCanWait on in the background.
That song is gorgeous …
OK, there’s two songs I want at my funeral: OMD’s #Souvenir, and #Meatloaf’s #HeavenCanWait
If you’re going to go with utterly heartbreaking, those are the tunes to go for …
Today, March 20, in 2025, at 10:17 AM, Los Angeles Rams backup quarterback Joe Pendleton was due to arrive in heaven, until his guardian angel pulled him out of his body too early (Heaven Can Wait, 1978)
