Currently has the shitty stock nut, aka the source of all tuning instability problems on these instruments, soon to be replaced with a hand made Graph Tech nut once I can find some time to make it.

BishopSlowly coming to terms with needing to finish the nut replacement on both my #Fender #guitar and #bass. I popped the plastic ones off and dropped new pre-filed #graphtech nuts in, but I didn’t trust myself to sand, glue, and fine-file the nuts. Finally have to acknowledge that the tuning and playing issues with both are probably from loose nuts (har har) and perform musician surgery.
