Eryck Gu⸸⸸eЯaLDecided to tune my #Ibanez SRD905F #electricBass to drop C with a low G on the bottom. Wanted to brighten up one note in a riff. lol at trying to play chords on a #fretlessBass.
#DAddario #tapewounds and stock #flatwounds strings. This tuning does work fine. I'd prefer all the strings to be a bit thicker.
If I were to keep it like this, I'd get the bottom four of a 5-string set or heavier flatwound singles. The low G is fine as tapewound but, I'm also using a nasty fuzz pedal. 😈
