The NDP Leadership race is heating up now that the deadline for membership signups is only two weeks away (Jan 28).

Leah Gazan, MP for Winnipeg Centre, and Anjali Appadurai, former BC NDP Leadership candidate who scared the #BCNDP so bad they had to disqualify her from the race, have both today announced their support for Avi Lewis as NDP Leadership candidate. I believe Appadurai has been working in Lewis’ campaign since the beginning.

Both of these women are strong NDP leaders with deeply progressive followers, young and old.

Remember the people who said AI wouldn’t take away jobs? The current LLM/AI space is absolute shit at actually doing real work… but they are cutting and taking jobs anyway.

Oh, and we went from a Liberal Canadian government that at least had a Universal Basic Income on their radar… to one that is going to cut 1000s of federal jobs and, you guessed it, get AI to do stuff instead.
