Not the now frequent storms washing actual billions of dollars of highways, buildings and bridges away. Not the massive 80 million acre loss of Canadian forest in wildfires. Not the droughts ending crops, NONE ARE THE CRISIS.
They are the WARNINGS of the coming never ending crisis, the ever more costly destructive crisis.

Avi Lewis: "I want Naheed Nenshi to be the next Premier of Alberta. We must get rid of Danielle Smith ... I'm utterly devoted to Naheed's victory, despite the fact that he's not a member of the federal party. We are still New Democrats in spirit, in soul and in fundamental values."
This is not the first time Avi has said the same thing. It is categorically untrue that Avi has ever cheered on the defeat of the Alberta NDP. He has always been a cheerleader for the party.
The video Shannon Phillips quote tweeted was cut and taken way out of context, and Phillips admitted to never seeing the context before ranting about it. Yet so many have taken her misinformed assumptions and repeated them as fact, including the leader of the Alberta NDP.
While Shannon Phillips did not call Avi an eco-terrorist, more recently deleted substacks from her show that she was just as critical of Avi's green deal and the Federal NDP as this "lunatic rightwinger". These sentiments have been held for a long time.
Avi on the other hand, was always the team player.
