To me, being furthest left is a feature, not a bug, of the @avilewis campaign:

“He has also proposed affordability solutions including free public transit and publicly owned grocery stores. That puts Lewis’s politics the furthest left of any candidate, Nelson said. He added that the NDP’s leadership voting system — which asks voters to rank up to five candidates in order of preference — might give less controversial candidates a leg up if Lewis cannot get a majority of first-choice votes.”

/4 The #AviLewis campaign was the only #NDP leadership campaign that had obtained donations in all 24 of #Toronto's federal constituencies as of December 31st.

Ashton's campaign received donations from 19 constituencies, Johnston from 17, McQuail from 15 and McPherson from 14 constituencies.
