Call for testers! I've made some pretty substantial changes to #gfeeds and I'd love to know if they resulted in any bugs.

Plus I'd love to be able to release the new version once the #gnome 42 runtime lands, so it's as good a time as any for a good round of testing.

If you want to help, install the latest #flatpak snapshot from this page: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/gfeeds/-/jobs and report any issue you find in the issue tracker.

GitLab

I have merged #gfeeds #gtk4 branch into the master branch! And webkit isn't bundled anymore, yay!

This means you can download the latest development snapshots from GitLab CI here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/gfeeds/-/pipelines

Also, if you're on #arch gfeeds-git has been updated as well to the new version.

Gtk4, LibAdwaita and the new Feeds

coming for my news reader app Feeds. Most of this year, as far as personal projects go, I spent at close contact with Gtk4, libadwaita and the awesome people over at the various matrix chat rooms.

It's all coming together...

#gfeeds #gtk4 #libadwaita

Hey people! I've been working on porting #gfeeds to #gtk4 and #libadwaita. Currently I'm having some issues with #webkit, as it crashes right when opening an article.

If you want to help, feel free to check it out and try it for yourself at https://gitlab.gnome.org/world/gfeeds

Check out the gtk4 branch, and make sure to run the script in dist/flatpak/download_webkit_main.sh before trying to build it using gnome-builder.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Just some screenshots of Gnome Feeds running on the Pinephone.

Note: Gnome Feeds is a feed reader made with GTK and Libhandy. It integrates great with Phosh and works really well. Sometimes scrolling still isn't that great but it has improved a lot and is okay by now.
