Week 1 with #GrapheneOS

The OS is just fantastic, I like it a lot! But the #Pixel9 is too big for my arthritic hands, so I switched from the 9 to a #reforbeshed #Pixel8 yesterday.

On paper, the 9 is actually thinner. But in my arthritic hand, I prefer the rounded edges of the 8.. I can hold it better.

I gave the 9 to my happy brother.

Here we go the refurbeshed #pixel5 from refurbed.nl just landed , looking good so fare, phone need some % of power and then we will go with the try out of Murena /e/os and calyxOS and lineageOS and chose the one that will help me with a new start with a free and DeGoogled life…. 😉

So where are we at with OSS phones these days?

Pinephone seems... weak? Potato camera, no 5G. But otherwise, actually affordable.

Purism seems relatively current, but Pixel premium prices for somewhat underspec'd.

Am I missing something? Is there another one out there to look at?

I miss my N97...
