Recently, I had the opportunity to conduct a field mapping activity in Mumbai, specifically in the rapidly expanding region of Mira Bhayandar.

Working with a small but highly motivated team, we used the 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽 to map critical infrastructure and retail ecosystems on the ground.

Following my post promoting #fieldmapping as the first #openstreetmap activity taught to beginners, I've published another in FR, EN, PT about indoor mapping on imagery, in which, I encourage starting these beginners on roads and streets rather than buildings, as is generally the practice, and list the advantages.

Suite à mon post promouvant la carto de terrain #fieldmapping comme première activité #openstreetmap enseignée à des débutant-es, j'en ai publié un autre en FR, EN, PT concernant la carto en salle sur imagerie, dans lequel, j'encourage de faire commencer ces débutant-es sur des routes et des rues plutôt que des bâtiments, comme c'est généralement l'usage, et y liste les avantages.
