Nuestra embajadora de la comunidad UN Maps, Silvi Meritano, imparte un taller de cartografía abierta en Venado Tuerto (Argentina) desde hoy, 28 de mayo, hasta el sábado 30 de mayo. El taller se centrará en la cartografía en #OpenStreetMap para la prevención y la preparación ante inundaciones. Con más de 80 personas inscritas, este evento contribuirá a las estrategias de mitigación de desastres no solo en la ciudad, sino también en la región.

Every time floods hit Nairobi, the same question fills our timelines,

"How can we help solve this?"

This Saturday, we answered that question , before the floods come.

As #UNMappers Kenya, community ambassador, I ran a JOSM training session followed by a mini mapathon focused on Ruai, one of Nairobi's fastest-growing neighbourhoods in eastern Nairobi.
