Problem is that for some reason it decides at random to open half a dozen tabs of the Catalyst Browse quickstart web page, even when there is no Catalyst Browse related activity going on.
So since it's annoying and I don't use it, I got the IT guy here to uninstall it (dragged application to trash, emptied trash). But then next time I reboot, there it is again. We deleted all the Application Support files as well as the app itself, but somehow it gets re-installed at startup.
There's nothing in LaunchAgents or LaunchDaemons and I don't see any related process in `top` or `ps` when it is doing its thing.
If I search for it on the OS drive I find it in /Applications, and also `/System/Volumes/Data/Library/InstallerSandboxes/.PKInstallSandboxManager/5E58EE56-ACC5-4EF1-AB00-10E385FEEC07.activeSandbox/Root/Applications/Catalyst Browse.app`
`/Library/InstallerSandboxes/.PKInstallSandboxManager/5E58EE56-ACC5-4EF1-AB00-10E385FEEC07.activeSandbox/Root/Applications/Catalyst Browse.app`
and `/System/Volumes/Data/Applications/Catalyst Browse.app` I don't know if that's all symlinks to the same file, I'm not up on the new MacOS filesystem weirdness.
Would piping the output of `find / -name "*atalyst*rowse*" 2>/dev/null` to `rm -Rf` be a bad thing to do?
Does anyone know how it is re-installing itself? Can anyone help me get rid of it?
