But for any place where such a law doesn't exist yet, the risk is very real.
They (e.g. stupid unelected EU Commission people) can/will use the fact that "OSes already have an age verification system in place" and try to push it further to make it mandatory for all 'account holders', not only child 'users'.
Urgh.
