"A new #California bill would require state government forms that collect #demographic #data to add “#Jewish” as an #ethnic #identity.

This would both allow California #Jews to identify themselves as an #ethnicity for the first time and make California the first state required to collect data on Jews in this way.

Checking the box will be optional.

Currently, some state government forms ask a question about religion and include “Jewish” as a response. State Sen. #HenryStern (D-Sherman Oaks), a California Legislative Jewish Caucus member who introduced #SB1387, told J. that the state needs better demographic data on California Jews. He added that some Jews may identify as Jewish #ethnically instead of #religiously."

Not sure if it is #ethnically #compromised or just #brainwashed and don't know any better.

To stem the tide, open source OS and office suite as the baseline should used in #schools as early as possible. Growing up, #kids will use what they used in school and are familiar with and that's what they know.

Got to get them using open source software early, that will help change the tide.

That is how #microsoft is #monopolising the #desktop, #officesuite #market from early on in schools. it's not because their product is better, its what people are familiar with.
