I really like the concept of #EqualityOfOpportunity because then it becomes somewhat of a challenge between each of us.

I find it not only stimulating to be in such a challenge but it also feels like it is a necessity for us to flourish.

In a #democracy, the nation is a community of people who work together to deliver shared interests, like #AfordableHomes4All, #EqualityofOpportunity, #Education for all to enable that equality, #freedomfromhunger, and personal and national security. Government chosen by the people is the tool they use to deliver themselves those benefits. That is democracy. It is not #socialism, though #PierrePoilievre wants you to think it is.. No, not socialism but good, #CommonSense, a quality Pierre lacks.

#Education should be the most positive force for advancing #equalityofopportunity in a society, but we have made lack of access to affordable and quality education to be one of the greatest barriers to opportunity and a driving force of worsening #wealthinequality in the United States.

Whilst #meritocracy appears to promote #equalityofopportunity, in this @po_qu paper 'Meritocracy, elitism and inequality', #III Visiting Fellow @JonathanMijs and III Director @MikeSav47032563 argue that meritocracy is a deeply #elitist project. #LSEWealth
