Already more than two years ago, a few soldiers and border guards ste the tone. Mariapol was being bombarded to oblivion, Kiev was sieged and Charkiv barely held ground. On a small but very strategic important island a few man and women confronted the "Great Russian Navy".
They set the tone for every Ukranian in the world. It was made to a poststamp [now a collectors item]

Russian forces have captured Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea, also known as Snake Island, where 82 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered to them, Moscow's defence ministry said.
Ukrainian officials have said that all 13 border guards deployed on the island, located south of the port city of Odessa, were killed by arms fire from a Russian warship.
