Lollll so I found a drop spindle that's ridiculously light and the description was like "very beginner friendly, great for heavier yarn" and I eyed it and went "no that's how you teach people to spin laceweight".

@kabrams was intrigued, explored the maker's shop, bought one, and is currently like "yeah, I have a new laceweight spindle". 🤣 (they say "maybe featherweight or threadweight, actually" so like. This spindle is *so light*.)
