BREAKING DOWN TUESDAY'S HEAT & WEDNESDAY'S SEVERE WEATHER THREAT:
As long as you are away from the lake breeze that Lake Superior keeps generating, the summertime heat and humidity is in full effect across the Northland.
Tuesday is looking to be one of those muggy days we see every summer season. It is also going to be the fuel for a couple chances for showers and thunderstorms to develop and pass through. While there is a chance for severe storms late Tuesday night, the best chance is looking to be Wednesday afternoon and evening.
I broke down what we are seeing in the model runs as of Monday evening, and what I feel will be the most likely scenarios.

A high-pressure system moving into the #Northland Tuesday night will lead to widespread #fog thanks to #calm #winds, #humid #dewpoints, and low #temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Wednesday will see plenty of #sunshine with highs in the 70s and low 80s. A light wind coming off #LakeSuperior will help to drop the #humidity a bit.
