Skończyłem wreszcie Pierwszy i Jedyny z Tanith. Jak już usiadłem porządnie do czytania, to od wczoraj wieczorem pół książki weszło.
Kocham Duchy. To jest dokładnie to, co mnie jara, lekka piechota, zwiadowcy, skrytość i zaskoczenie. ❤️ I choć może brak Astartes to dla niektórych mało #W40K, ale no ja mam słabość do Gwardii Imperialnej. :D
Sama historia bardzo przyjemna, choć parę elementów mi nie leżało. Nie jestem też wielkim fanem przeplatania współczesnej historii z flashbackami, ale za to fantastyczne postacie mi to wszystko wynagrodziły z nawiązką. Mimo wszystko solidna powieść, polecam. 🙂

4/5: I picked this book up in the library because it has Dan Abnett's name on the cover. For the last several years, all the stories I've found most engaging in 2000AD have been written by him, so although I've never felt drawn to read Games Workshop spin-off fiction, I thought I'd give this a go. It turns out to be from roughly 20 years ago—a period during which I wasn't reading 2000AD, and hadn't been playing any Warhammer games for around 10 years. It's kind of interesting to have an insight into what was going on while I wasn't paying attention… Abnett is an inventive and technically gifted...
