Funny Flexi Octopus by DrLex

There will be no more updates to this page. The new home of the Funny Flexi Octopus is now on GitHub. Any updates will only be available there. This is a print-in-place octopus with flexible legs, in the same style as McGybeer's Cute Mini Octopus. Just for fun, as a toy or fidget, or to show off the possibilities of 3D printing. Unlike the original, this one has no mouth on the side, which allows to print it entirely without supports. It also makes it slightly more realistic because real octopuses (or octopodes for the linguistic fanatics) have their mouth at the bottom. This is where the striving for realism ends though, because real octopuses obviously do not have a nose or eyebrows either. Although inspired by McGybeer's Cute Mini Octopus, this was re-created from the ground up in Blender, which means it is not a remix. License: what to do when selling prints This model has an ‘interesting’ licensing history which you can find on its GitHub page, but this history is not important. What is important, is that this model is released under a Creative Commons Attribution license and this requires you to follow specific rules if you want to sell prints of this model, or remixes of it. Go to the GitHub page of this model by following this link, and read the instructions there. Please do not message me with questions unless you have read those instructions at least twice and you still haven't found an answer in there. I don't like having to answer the same questions over and over again. Common Sense Needless to say, this contains small parts and should not be used as a toy for unsupervised little children due to possible choking hazards.

#3dprinting
Muss man die gießen? 😳 #lego #3ddruck #thingyverse #CrealityEnder3Pro

Need help with my new #crealityender3pro #3dPrinter. Currently suspended on reddit so I can't make a post there rn. Basically this was supposed to be a miniature jurassic Park gate, but something is wrong with my X axis. The X axis keeps pulling to the left, and I think the internal coordinate system is bugged. When I rehome it, the printer head butts against the X axis limit switch and it's inaccurate between 10mm and 30mm leftward. I'm hoping this isn't something that'll require a teardown or an expense but I'll do what I need to.

#Advice is appreciated

Not too often I need to, but adjusting wheels on my #3DPrinter is easier with my Jaguar mini adjustable wrench .

Adding a second Z axis lead screw to my #CrealityEnder3Pro as well as adding a #BigTreeTech #SKR2 controller board.

Bit of a production: Two printers #3DPrinting parts needed for upgrading my Ender 3 Pro. One is an #CrealityEnder3Pro and the other is a #AnycubicLinearPlus Delta printer #Creality #Anycubic
Yesterday I finally got working my #CrealityEnder3Pro upgrade. I swapped the motherboard and replaced it with a #bigtreetech skr mini e3 v2.0. In addition to that I added a #BLTouch autoleveling probe. The result is astonishing. I think autoleveling is one of the best improvements you can add to a #3dprinter. The more quit stepper drivers on the skr mini are also amazing but currently my fans are the loudest part on the printer :).
