Regardless, I have now fixed the DNAT configuration, so NTP requests are handled within my network. The #Anycubic #KobraX doesn't have #Internet connection but still works just fine.
All left to do now is to bug Anycubic about DHCP option 42. 😁
Of course the #Anycubic #3dprinter will extort you into installing their app and creating an account for a #firmware #update

The #Anycubic #KobraX allows a maximum length of 32 for WIFI PSKs.
So I have to deploy an extra SSID, just for that stupid thing. 😩

@afterdesign @hrw sure. But remember, experience with 3D printing as a whole, craftiness of person interested and financial constraints can change a lot for recommendations.
#Prusa is always a good bet, and being a Czech company, you can always take the printer, ride to their HQ and throw it at their face if you're not happy with your purchase. My i3 Mk3S+ has taken a lot of beating for the past 5 years and is still very reliable. Their CORE One+ (referral link) I consider as the best general choice currently. This one I was considering to buy lately as an upgrade for myself.
At the moment, my plan is to build myself VORON2.4. I will take some parts from my Frankensteined Prusa, buy what I need, and voilà! A 3D printer which is exact dimensions I can fit and with most if not all features I want. I feel confident I can pull off this build, though I don't know how you'll fill about it.
For cheaper options, I've heard a lot of good opinions about #Anycubic #Kobra lineup, and currently their Kobra S1 is on sale for just €349. Unfortunately I don't have much more to say about it, as it never was an appealing option for me. Just heard multiple colleagues of mine praising its quality to price ratio.
