In times of #globalwarming, the #coolingeffect of green spaces is of great importance, especially in urban areas. Forests in particular, such as those in parks, produce so-called #evaporativecooling. The underlying moisture is stored in the forest floor or released by plants such as trees via the stomata of their leaves and/or via cuticular transpiration over the entire leaf surfaces.
