So #yesterday was a long day.
Started off with the youngest and his rec soccer game. Their team is pretty strong and has only lost to one team, ditto with the team they've lost to. Yesterday they won something like 13-0, but they don't actually keep score. While it's great to see them win, it's even more great to see them play a team that'll challenge them. That's next week. 😃
From there it was hurry back home to get one twin to an appointment. This is one of my nice "quiet hour" moments when I get to read.
Then, it was take the same twin to get a better bike, ouch. No comment.
Then wife and I had am evening out. That went until we got back home at 0200 today.
#Todau I really need to mow. Not too sure it's gonna fit in with everything else going on today.
Morning!
I've peeked out of the window and quickly hid again. It's not raining but everything is wet and gloomy out there.
I was hoping to get some allotment jobs done so I'll reconsider later. There are some potatoes that have got to go in this weekend.
Yesterday was a very odd day in the end.
I did go to play Petanque and had an excellent game (despite narrowly losing 12-13) to three much better players.
I got home completely shattered and slept for well over an hour (which didn't relieve my stomach pain).
Sacha cooked me one of the meat-free burgers I had in the freezer but she's got a strange attitude to non-meat meat and it, frankly, wasn't cooked to its best. She had a steak (something I refuse to eat).
We listened to the radio all evening - The Archers Podcast and a BBC drama. I went down a rabbit hole looking at places to visit when we go on holiday in a couple of weeks.
