IMHO there should be a "#FRAND-Clause" in #Copyright #laws around the globe, stating that if one's unwilling to sell / license at "fair, reasonable and non-discrimiatory" terms, their #Copyrights for #commercially licensed material gets canned.

Imagine you tell everyone that you have this amazing #technology, and people #invest in your company because of it, but it's all a lie.
With Holmes and her blood test, we rightfully considered it #fraud. Yet, Elon and Bezos seem to get away with it.
One claimed his #AI drives cars #autonomously (in demos), making claims it will be available #commercially any time now.
The other claimed his stores have an #aidriven #checkout, while it was a bunch of folks reviewing #videofootage & deciding.

Search/social media companies show a #snippet of the #article, and #link back to the original #site to read the full #article. That's fine, and shouldn't need #payment.
But if they're #copying more of the original article than is necessary for that purpose, eliminating those visits to the original site and benefiting #commercially, they're #violating the site's #copyright, and should pay #damages and #penalties for that.
