The former chief administrative officer of Cochrane, Monika Malherbe has filed a statement of claim against the current mayor, Peter Politis, as well as the Town of Cochrane, claiming she endured bullying, harassment and defamation for years. Malherbe is seeking $875,000 in damages. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
