I’m not here to bitch about this list. I’m here to talk about #DavidBowie’s style for collaboration. He’d bring someone in and let them do their thing. Let them be themselves. No directing. #SteveJobs learned this working with #PaulRand on the logo for NeXT, in that Rand would supply one logo and get paid for it whether it was used or not. Jobs wanted edits but Rand said no and Jobs realized Rand was right. That’s who he hired. #colaboration #art #music

Wow! Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir is a fantastic book. Easily believable and plausible science combined with the hope of cooperation.

Many similar sci-fi stories stimulate feelings of suspense, urgency, mission, and such. But few inspire hope; hope in humanity, in the cosmos, and in ourselves. Read in an era of rock-bottom emotions where hope is scarce, made worse by the fact that our own condition is nowhere as bad as it may become – Andy Weir presents a glimmer of hope, not because the story has anything to do with the issues destroying humanity today, but because so many other readers have also found solice and temporary escape in this book.

As John and Yoko said:

War is over if you want it!

It seems to me that there are many in this world who want collaboration, cooperation, and coexistence. Even if like the protagonist, we have been drug kicking and screaming to this point, let us have the courage to fight for what's right before it's too late.

'Gnu/Linux an OS that can run everywhere. The biggest supercomputers, the smallest embedded devices, mobile and desktop, education, commerce, science and industry. It vitalizes the very new and sustains the very old.'

There are so many instances of great collaborations between two minds that create something great, whether it be a work, product, innovation, or art. I want to believe that there is a person out there for everyone who wants a collaboration like that. #art #colaboration #pairing #pair #production #cofounder #coworker

How does one map and visualise the complex arrangements of computer vision technologies used in the field of security in a collaborative setting where the research participants come from different scholarly traditions?
