Trying to find a book for an upcoming book discussion and...hm.

I would like The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. But I suspect that the fantasy aspects wouldn't go over well.

I've always been mildly interested in Clive Cussler's books, but never never read one. I looked them up on Fantastic Fiction and...ugh. I dunno about that. More politics than I expected. Guess I expected more adventure, less technothriller. Also, Clive's been dead for five years, but is still the first author of the books. I think his son Dirk's riding on the coattails.
