I think we all do the same mental calculation when something disturbing ails us: Is a visit to the emergency room really necessary? Because we all know what that entails. Many hours of waiting, only to find out (maybe) at the end that we didn't really need to be there.
I spent 11 hours in the emergency room of a Moncton hospital this past Saturday. It was probably good that I went.
But did it really have to take 11 hours? (Link in comments)
