The World and I chat for time to time and occasionally we record that conversation for posterity.
I quite like the World. I mean, not just to live on, but to talk to. I find it refreshingly honest. It says what it means. It doesn’t beat around the bush. I may not always like what it has to tell me but I have to respect it.
And I would be a fool not to listen.
Well, this just in, and it's pretty amazing.
Cherry Whip: Twentieth Anniversary Edition by Michael Antman, which we published in June of last year, just received a coveted "Starred" review on Booklist.

An "... irreverent, poignant, and wondrously odd tale." — Alexander Moran
In Volume One of Captain’s Away! the Doucettes were forced to flee after their space station Evangeline was destroyed by a battleship from the Realm. Marie-Josée Doucette found herself in charge of an Akkadian starship, Beausoleil. Her parents became passengers on that ship, each tested in their own way, especially after the death of their son, Marie-Josée’s brother, Alain Doucette.
But Alain did not die.
This is his story.
