“Beware! Beware!” one monster pleads. “There is danger ahead!”

But no one stops for sleep this night. They keep marching, marching, toward a distant light.

I sure hope most of us are familiar with this wonderful chidren'sbook. It's quiet, informative and presents the cycle of the seasons in a way children can understand.

These days it also informs kid and adults, probably, of how things once were.
