Want stable systems with stable UIs?
I do. 🤓
Imagine you could (have had) the same UI since 1995?
yet with /all/ the bells and whistles of modern computing #updates.
without the disruptions of constant-changes where undesired?

Just for fun, I decided to finally bite the bullet and resurrect ye olde macbook pro (mid-2010) with an SSD and Linux Mint XFCE. I had already upgraded it to 8Gb RAM ages ago. To complete this sacrilege, I hope to use the Chicago95 theme.
I'm not a fan of planned obsolescence, and I'm definitely missing actual ethernet ports on modern mobile hardware. This should be fun.
Here's what it looks like. Super true to the original, a theme called Chicago95. I followed Michael MJD's video on using Chicagofier (https://github.com/dominichayesferen/Chicagofier), which simplifies setting up Chicago95 on Xubuntu. This little laptop can't really do much and I don't feel comfortable selling it, so it's a fun project laptop now.
As a staunch anti Microsoft advocate, should I feel guilty for loving this Windows 95 theme on Linux?
