Okay, so I played a hidden object game on stream Saturday, and had a great time. Next time I will play Wheel of Fortune through the years - old versions of the classic wheel-spinning word game up through more recent iterations. :D

My oldest pup passed on Thursday. He was 15, and one of the best dogs I've ever known. He was my companion, my therapist, my snuggle buddy, and my supervisor for any time I worked on a project (whether it be cooking, building something, or even just playing games). I miss him so much already. Rest easy, Hawke. You deserve your retirement. Love you, buddy-boy.

Our loved ones never truly leave us, do they? He'll be with me every day of my life going forward.

I'm all for people playing the way they want, but I find the discourse around FFXIV to be some of the most garbage I've seen for the game in a very long time. Don't use mods that impact other people -- it's a simple thing that you can do to avoid the ire of Squenix. It's their game, their right to shut down whatever mods they want. Either don't bitch or move on, but complaining makes you look like a nob.

Gonna build my own custom Nintendo GameCube case and theme it after sakura, I think. Here's my concept, I've got filament on the way and a new print plate (cheap Chinesium one I bought actually lifted some of the base plate off when removing a print) so I should be able to start printing.

This is a rough draft of my concept, so it's nowhere near done. I plan to add some petals in a pretty way, and replace the power LED with a pink one.

Taken the time to learn how to build dashboards in Grafana, as well as how to build my own Prometheus endpoints. I made one for my Bambu printer, screenshot attached. You can see the code here: https://github.com/timhosey/bambu_exporter/

Spent a couple days in Port Townsend with my lovely spouse. Had a great time. Went ocean kayaking, saw a WWII artillery battery, and had some weird goods, some good some bad. Happy to be home, not thrilled about being back to work come Monday.
