When we went on #hedgewatch in the #Heide/#Heath. We found again #windkanter/#ventifacts. This was a #sandstone a #sedimentary #rock & is now a #quartzite i.e. the #metamorphic equivalent. Thus it has seen high #temperature &/or #pressure. The stripes are the remnants of the sedimentary layers

Got a few projects on the bench, one of which is a Sencore LC102 capacitor analyzer; a fantastically useful bit of gear. I’ve got a good one and a bad one on loan from a friend, and having a good one on hand gives me a fighting chance to get the bad one working.
