Question to my fellow readers: I would love to use the Internet Archive free library for borrowing books, but reading them in a browser is impossible on an eReader. I cannot find any options for downloading, like it works with Libby or Onleihe. Apparently that's supposed to work. Maybe the books I tested where not available for downloading? But how do I find downloadable ebooks? Am I missing a filter or button or something?

Had to return some books to the library, and carefully balanced my new borrowings since I need to pick up a lot of deliveries by bus returning home.
Then I found eight pieces of a much coveted DIY encyclopedia in the book exchange bin, covering exactly the areas I need...
Me: I'm going to the library because I've reserved a book. I'll return one book and _only_ borrow This One Book. Nothing else. Just the _reserved book_.

I don't know about you, but I love borrowing a well-used library book with the old fashioned index card and rules and stamps... π
I read this Glastonbury book today to do research for my upcoming book about women in Somerset through the ages. The book barely mentioned women, but it was useful for background info.
