An interesting find in the YIVO archive today, a photo of a Jewish youth orchestra in Chotin, Bessarabia Gubernia, Russian Empire (today Khotyn, Ukraine) from 1910. It appeared 3 times in the box and was one of the only large format historical photos there, perhaps a prized relic of life back home. This was from a collection made up of several interconnected Chotiner mutual aid and relief organizations.
