Und weil wir gerade bei #klezmer sind, die Gruppe Aufwind. In den frühen 90ern sind wir uns gelegentlich „über den Weg gelaufen“, schön dass sie immer noch aktiv sind.

glad this is coming together; a year ago when I was in NYC Pete Rushefsky met me and was telling me a trove of handwritten scores from cimbalom player Joseph Moskowitz had been uncovered in DC. I'll probably speak at this zoom about the old NY klezmer characters who appear in these scores.

Why do #klezmer artists on #bandcamp tag their music #yiddish? Makes it much harder for us who are really looking for music in yiddish. Klezmer has a perfectly good tag regardless of if it's in yiddish, English, Hebrew or wordless
