Had became? Had drank? It often includes the use of the wrong past participle of a verb. And I grew up in a part of the country where “might should have went” was not uncommonly heard. Brits don’t like it when Americans use “gotten” rather than “got,” which is a regional preference rather than bad grammar.

So, a third of US women make up the agricultural labor force. There are no men. And by "only," does the author mean that even more women (50%?) should go into agriculture?
