Solid effort at #parkrun today.

Was not expecting much as still recovering from the #Arc50 and aftermath, so had pacer app set for 24 minutes. Really happy with 22:30 and max effort.

Not sure where all the racing snakes were today, that time wouldn't normally get 16th place.

These finish line photos by the incredible Will Harper-Penrose perfectly sum up the #Arc50 for me. Totally broken, but utter joy at having completed the UK's toughest 50 miler.

I could post loads of photos, but they don't convey just how beautiful (and brutal!) the Cornish coast path is.

I could write paragraphs about the amazing team at #MudCrew that put on this fabulous event, but it would always feel inadequate.

And then you read everyone else's stories. Wow.

Photos from the #southWestCoastPath and a made-up trail out from #Penzance to Chapel Carn Brea this past weekend.

Had intended a much more comprehensive look at the second half of the #arc50 but a head cold put paid to that unfortunately.

Got so lucky with the weather out of #Portreath and Beca, Shakira and me had a half time pasty sat in the sun by Hell's Mouth, looking out over the mirror-smooth water.

Hope it's like this for the race in January!
