Hello this doesn't make it better. Typing into chat gpt Vs typing into Google. Google will get you what you want easier and quicker and with less environmental impact (marginally). "A way of talking to eachother" fucking TALK to eachother then.

They already admitted they're seeing negligible improvement so what is the point poisoning any good will and creativity and literal real life water resources??? God, fuck you and fuck everyone pro-GenAI

in the last 24 hours both my libby app and calibre software 'upgraded' with an ai assistant. no way to turn it off or opt out on either (i guess maybe just downgrading the software?)

so SICK of having ai shoved in my face at every moment in every place. just let me opt out. let me turn it off. please i beg

i won't even get into the betrayal i feel at having ai and llms in places like the library, or my ebook manager. le sigh
