If every website owner handed free space to an antiAI app, it could post meaningful and earnest tosh that would be incredibly hard to detect at scale. But when the website needs the space it could move off — as an ethereal tendency.

Bullshit a bullshitter.

It seems to me that the vast majority of music reportedly being put on Deezer from AI ("75,000 AI-generated tracks are now flooding the platform every day" according to Music Business Worldwide) is not coming from artists, but from bad actors.

It cements in my mind how these tools are replacing what people go out and create. It replaces also the thoughts people would have in making it, and the value people share in consuming it.

Apparently an image, a meme that I posted was #AI generated, though I was not the one to create it… So let me be clear, VERY CLEAR, it’s the message I’m boosting, the image is a prop. Already I’ve had random absolutist #AntiAI police dropping into my mentions crying #Slop. Ignoring the message, ignorant of my bio and history, scolding someone they don’t know. Well…they can FUCK OFF and keep their unsolicited scolding opinions outta my feed. I will block you MFs who have nothing better to do than harass your betters. In fact, and pay attention, I do believe that AI should be carefully regulated, that there should be guardrails, and that billionaire control of powerful technology never comes to any good. But that’s not going to stop my legit use of the tech, nor force me to run every freaking image I post or boost through an AI detector. Not gonna happen. The AI police are in my mind digital ICE, hiding behind their handles and randomly heaping scorn. Get a life FFS. #ArtificialIntelligence

So, given the attack on #SamAltman's house (and how gun-ho many workplaces are for employees to join the #AICult), I expect that anyone #ResistingAI will be next ones to be branded as #Terrorists.

#PauseAI and #StopAI: Meet the #AntiAI groups facing questions after the attack on Sam Altman

By Sharon Goldman
April 15, 2026

Excerpt: "The attempted firebombing of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s San Francisco home last Friday, allegedly carried out by 20-year-old Daniel Moreno-Gama, has drawn attention to two anti-AI groups with similar names: Pause AI and Stop AI. Both have condemned the violence and said the suspect is not and was never a member of their organizations.

"Still, the incident, in which Moreno-Gama also went to #OpenAI’s headquarters and tried to shatter the building’s glass doors with a chair and threatened to burn the facility, surfaced his activity on Pause AI’s Discord server and renewed scrutiny of Stop AI’s direct actions targeting OpenAI last year."

For fuck's sake I wish #Techdirt would stop publishing Mike Masnick pieces. What complete garbage, guaranteed every time.

"I think the negative reaction to the product announcement is understandable, given the general distrust of all AI tools, but it’s really worth examining what this tool is and what it can enable..."

Let me stop you right there Mike. No it fucking isn't worth examining. AI; fuck off.

The question I have is not whether you use AI in your creative writing, it’s how hard you push back against it in the other parts of your life.

I refuse to use AI for anything that touches my creativity.

I also refuse to use it in my dayjob, even against peer pressure, and that’s harder. #antiai

PC World: Bing is the anti-AI search engine you should be using. “Searching via AI doesn’t just hurt content creators–it also mashes up what you’re looking for in a tasteless glob of names and numbers. If you’re searching for recommendations, start with a search engine that improves the experience. No, not Google. Microsoft Bing.”

Louis Critiques Stephanie Vee's Anti-AI Stance as Hypocritical Greed and Futile Resistance
https://gnu.support/artificial-intelligence/Louis-Critiques-Stephanie-Vee-s-Anti-AI-Stance-as-Hypocritical-Greed-and-Futile-Resistance-124369.html

Louis delivers a scathing critique of Stephanie Vee’s anti-AI stance, characterizing her argument not as ethical resistance but as hypocritical greed driven by fear of professional obsolescence. He dismantles her claims by pointing out the irony of using public platforms to protest data scraping, arguing that her proposed "poisoning" of data is merely a desperate, self-sabotaging attempt to monetize public content that she previously exploited for free growth. Louis concludes that Vee’s efforts are futile and intellectually dishonest, as Silicon Valley will simply adapt to the noise while she inadvertently contributes her own hateful rhetoric to the very AI systems she claims to fight.
