Prek, "a reimagined version of pre-commit, built in Rust", has a ✨ fresh ✨ documentation page, thanks to a contributed by yours truly and paid for by my employee, AOE GmbH, wo allows me to use some of my working time to contribute to OSS projects. 🫶

The docs were moved from material for mkdocs to @squidfunk (https://fosstodon.org/@squidfunk)'s new doc generator @zensical (https://fosstodon.org/@zensical)!

@gse Ich bin seit zwei Tagen total begeistert von #MkDocs, so schnell und toll ging es noch nie mit einem SSG. Mit Hugo wurde ich irgendwie nie warm, war mir immer zu sperrig. Pelikan als SSG war da eher meins. Übrigens Pelican und MKDocs (und Hugo höchstwahrscheinlich auch) kann man in den meisten Linuxen einfach per Paketmanager installieren, dann muss man nicht mit pip und Co. rumhantieren. Zum HTML zu Fuß würde ich mir dann eher die Zeit in ein CMS oder SSG investieren, man vergisst so schnell beim editieren einen schließenden Tag oder ähnliches. Spreche aus Erfahrung, habe noch eine Seite die ich von Hand mache. Wordpress und Drupal können für die meisten privaten Projekte einfach zu viel, sind zu groß und schwer, ich weiß ja aber nicht was Du machen willst. Wordpress hätte aber halt ein ActivityPub Plugin. Wenn es eher so als Notizzettel gedacht ist, eventuell mal ein Wiki anschauen, da liegt mir persönlich #DokuWiki am besten.
Kommt halt immer auf den Anwendungsfall an.
