I've been running btsync for years. It was overkill for what I needed at home, or not quite right for real geo-replication services for storage arrays. So I built something.

It's such a shame that #physicalmedia has practically disappeared for most people.

Wrangling with Airdrop, Bluetooth, NFC, clouds, etc is just never going to work; not because of the technology, but because of the UX. Nothing beats doing it in person for handling authentication, authorization, and distribution all in one go.
