For those of you with cancer that are currently on active surveillance… I.e. CT scans, etc… how do you manage the thought of reoccurrences? If it doesn’t apply, please boost! I wanna see some good answers here! #cancer #youngadultcancer #cancers

It’s been a minute since I have been in the #mastodon world.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 grade 2 clear cell renal carcinoma. I’m 32 years old and soon to be 33. I was given the “go home and don’t come back convo” from my oncologist which is great.

My first scans on May 31st were clean, and my next ones are October 31st. Would love to connect with other #cancer folks here if there are any.

If this doesn’t apply to you, that’s fine, but boost if you can ❤️👏🏻❗️

Sharing and article about one of my favorite #YoungAdultCancer #NonProfits u/Young Adult Survivors United #YASU, under the leadership of my girl, Stephanie. This Pittsburgh-based org has helped me so much, in so many ways, innumerable and unfathomable. If you are looking for an organization to support, this one will get bang for your bucks and help young adults fighting cancer across the country! (Steph, I know you know! Love you mostest!)

Hey Mastodon🫶🏻

I have gotten some great replies recently and I’m very thankful for them. I wanted to reach out again for anyone who might not have seen my post.

I will likely be getting my kidney removed along with a 11.5 cm mass on it. The good news there doesn’t seem to be any spread and my kidney function is normal.

I would love to connect with others who have gone through something similar to this or surgery in general 🫶🏻

Really wasn’t expecting the kind replies from everyone regarding my tests and mass that I have in me. Thank you to everyone who replied and feel free to keep them coming, they really do help 🫶🏻 #cancer #youngadultcancer #cancerawareness

I feel lonely. Early December a mass was discovered on my kidney measuring 11.5cm. Since then.. all scans have pointed to it being only on my kidney (no spread).

Surgery still does scare the hell out of me. I want to connect with other folks who have had surgery of any kind where they were put under. Feel free to comment below, I would love to connect 🫶🏻

I still plan to post my dog content, but this has been a challenge to say the least
